The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) annual public meeting will be held on Wednesday 10 March 2021 at 9:30am. This meeting gives the Australian public the opportunity to meet with AFMA Commissioners and discuss AFMA’s progress in pursuing effective management of Commonwealth fisheries.

Two green sea turtles have been released after a successful Maritime Border Command (MBC) operation located and retrieved an abandoned 1.5 tonne fishing net.
